Booster Element and Thermostat
The booster element is used to increase the temperature inside the geyser if you use large volumes of hot water and sunlight is not optimal. In this case, our team in Centurion will drain the geyser when we have disconnected it from the water supply as well as the electrical supply. Once have done this we will swap out the faulty element and thermostat, after which we will reassemble the geyser and reconnect it to electricity and also the water supply. Ultimately we will switch the geyser on and test it to confirm it is working properly.
Geyserwise System
A faulty Geyserwise will typically result in the whole Solar system collapsing. This means that the booster element will no longer function, the circulation pump will not work, or the whole system will be completely dead. In this case, it will be best to simply replace the whole unit.

Circulation pumps push cold water into the solar collector in order for the water to be heated. If it becomes faulty, your geyser will no longer produce hot water. In this case, we will replace your circulation pump to restore proper operation.

Evacuated Tube systems can be affected by the water quality. Chemicals in the water cause a plaque deposit made up of salts, causing the blockage of solar tubes, resulting in superheating. Electrical Geyser repairs

We have found remote instances of an electrical supply that has become faulty. In such cases, we despatch a certified electrician to deal with the situation.
