ITS-4.5HDSuper 4.5 kW High-Temperature Domestic Heat Pump
The ITS-4.5HDSuper is a high-temperature residential air-to-water heat pump from the ITS Super series, developed for efficient domestic hot-water heating. It combines a robust metal casing, an internal bronze circulation pump and an advanced digital controller with built-in Wi-Fi and app control.
Unlike a conventional geyser element that converts electricity directly into heat, a heat pump transfers heat from the surrounding air into the water. This allows the system to deliver substantially more thermal energy than the electrical energy it consumes under suitable operating conditions.
4.5 kW Heating Capacity with COP 4.5
The manufacturer brochure lists a rated heating capacity of 4.5 kW with typical electrical input of 1.0 kW. The published COP is 4.5 under the stated test conditions. Actual efficiency will vary with ambient temperature, incoming water temperature, hot-water setpoint, household demand, installation quality and other site conditions.
High-Temperature Super Series
The ITS Super range is designed for applications where higher hot-water temperatures are required. The manufacturer brochure lists a maximum water outlet temperature of 80°C. This distinguishes the Super model from many conventional domestic heat pumps.
Built-In Wi-Fi and App Control
The current version includes an advanced digital controller with LCD display, built-in Wi-Fi and app control. ITS identifies the Smart Life application for convenient remote control and scheduling.
Internal Bronze Circulation Pump
An internal bronze circulation pump is built into the unit. This integrated approach reduces the need for a separate external circulation pump and supports a cleaner domestic installation when the system is correctly designed and commissioned.
Hot-Water Production
The ITS brochure lists hot-water production of approximately 100 litres per hour when heating from 15°C to 55°C under the relevant test conditions. The current ITS product page markets this model for geysers up to approximately 250 litres.

Installation
Professional installation is recommended. Correct operation depends on proper hydraulic integration, water flow, pipe sizing, water pressure, electrical supply, airflow around the outdoor unit and compliance with manufacturer installation requirements. The final installation scope can vary according to the existing geyser position, pipe route, property access and condition of the existing plumbing system.
