ITS-5.4HD 5.4 kW Domestic Heat Pump
The ITS-5.4HD is a residential air-to-water heat pump designed to provide efficient domestic hot-water heating while reducing the electrical energy required by a conventional geyser element. The unit combines a robust metal casing, an internal bronze circulation pump and current-generation Wi-Fi control.
A heat pump works by using a refrigeration cycle to extract heat from the surrounding air and transfer that energy into the water circuit. Because it transfers heat rather than producing all of the heat directly through an electrical resistance element, it can provide substantially more useful heating energy than the electrical energy it consumes under suitable conditions.
